50nl Shotz

Haven't been putting in enough volume lately, mainly due to Bitchez, beerz and getting on the blaze. So in order to keep up with my goal of reaching 100nl early next year I have jumped straight to 50nl. My past shots have been marred by whimping out due to the money factor and thinking everyone else is Ivey. It turns out they aren't. I busted my free $50 on party poker playing 50nl but seeing the opponents play was enough to give me the confidence to give it a crack on Tilt. Basically sat down this morning with the goal of playing solid for 2hours and not worrying about results. 4hrs of 4 tabling later I'm +5B. I'm sticking to 4 table for a while as its hugely +ev for my game.

Basic strategy is to avoid tricky spots, don't call so much and try sit down with as many 60-80bb stacks as possible. So much happier getting TP in v a 70bb fish than a 100bb reg. Off to the D-range now, will post some hands later for anyone who reads this dribble.


Had a few interesting hands. Couldn't get away from my overpair here against the shorties. Couldn't dodge the multi draws.


Closed my eyes and clicked call on this one. His line looked typically fishy but I wasn't happy about calling pot.



Getting much better at value betting the river with hands that aren't the nuts. So far anyway.



Told myself to bet fold the river here, even to a min raise. Couldn't do it and sureley enough...
