Had a BYO at Tandoori Palace in town, put $20 on AUS by 19+ in the league, $10 on Thaiday to score 1st and got generally mashed. Dinner was good (despite the restaurant running out of lamb), league was a good game (despite AUS not winning by enough) so it was off to casino obviously. Bought in for whatever was in my wallet which turned out to be $100 and am very excited to see AA in the hole first up in the BB. Pretty much whole table limps around to me and I try to look crazy by popping to $30 first hand (I considered an open shove). UTG repops to $100 and I obviously call. To my surprise he has done the old limp shove with AA and we split. Talk about anticlimatic. Get AKo for the next two hands and then pretty much alternate between AJ and AT the rest of the night. Raise to $10 every time and get at least 4 callers, miss every flop and c/f my way down to $60. Look down at TT and raise to $11. J high flop and UTG donks into me. I call half my stack. The flush comes in on the turn, I don't notice and jam my massive $30 stack over his $10 into $80 odd in the turn. I fail to get him off the nuts, gg.
Played a $4.40 rush tourney this morning. After 4 hands I've stacked 3 people and and up to 10k from 2. Sit here for a bit until my top pair gets cracked by some shit rivered two pair, my KK get cracked by TT preflop and some flush draw gets there. I love tourneys for about 5 minutes until the enevidable suckouts occur.
