Missed a prime golfing day to play a mini ftops event on Sunday. Decided with a few mates to try the luck box event that is a $50 super turbo. First was paying 40k or so but luck wasn't on our side, all out within 20 mins with only one knockout bounty between 4 of us. Pretty crap. I was then convinced to play the 50/50 to further destroy my roll. It had a 15k overlay so I was in. Played like a stupid donk (read: optimal mtt strategy) and worked my way toward what appeared to be a min cash. Managed to double up my 1bb a couple of times after the bubble burst and folded my way to 12th outlasting 870 others for a $615 cash. Moral of the story is play lots of mtts and you win the monies (tournament sample size = 4).
